I am born and raised in South Georgia, and that plays a major role in how I cook. Being from the rural South, my relationship with food is beyond that of consumption. Either we grow and hunt, or we know the people who do. There’s a relationship from the Earth to the plate that’s built into the process. Cooks are Earth’s magicians in that respect, and I guess I’m just passionate about magic.

I specialize in food and history from the Black American Diaspora. I’m comfortable demo-ing recipes and also having a cultural component.

I do also specialize in cannabis cuisine, and feel comfortable demoing any techniques here as well. I was featured in Episode 1 of Cooked with Cannabis on Netflix.
